Citizens’ Climate Lobby hosted a recent webinar for writers who want to make an impact on conservative audiences through opinion pieces.

The webinar, “Crafting Impactful Conservative Op-Eds and Letters to the Editor,” included discussion of what climate-related messages resonate most with conservative audiences, what opinion page editors want when it comes to contributor content and how to be most effective when pitching ideas.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is nonpartisan group committed to promoting climate solutions. The group’s local and state media coordinator, Charlotte Ward, moderated the webinar. The panelists were Nathan Crabbe, editor of The Invading Sea; Mary Anna Mancuso, spokesperson for republicEn.org; and Karly Matthews, vice president of communications for American Conservation Coalition Action.
