Climate Correction: It’s time to lead

Climate action is a shared responsibility, not just for governments or corporations

As the clock ticks down to our 2025 Climate Correction conference, I’d like to personally invite you to our flagship event. We’re especially proud to be hosting our seventh edition, having witnessed firsthand the impact that strong leadership can have — not just on communities, but on the world.

Born from the concept of financial market corrections, “climate correction” is about fixing an unsustainable system before it crashes. Just as markets adjust when prices spiral too high, we must correct our carbon emissions and environmental impact to avoid disaster. It’s a necessary reset for a livable future.

For me, this conference is not just about climate science or policy — it’s about family, community and the responsibility we all share to protect the world for the next generation. I’m Latina, and in my culture, family is at the heart of everything we do. At VoLo, when there is a problem, it’s a practice from our team not to wait for someone else to fix it — we come together, as a family, as a community, and we take action.

And that is exactly why we created Climate Correction.

I invite you to be part of the action. Don’t be afraid, fear will stop you. Be “Leaders in Action.”

You are a leader. Every single one of you. Regardless of your job title, background or resources, you have the power to make a difference.

Many people I talk to say they don’t know what they can do. They believe that addressing climate change is the responsibility of governments, corporations or scientists. That’s why we created Climate Correction — because it’s up to all of us. Real change doesn’t start in boardrooms; it starts in our homes, in our communities, in our conversations and in our daily choices.

Over my years with VoLo Foundation, I have seen leadership emerge in every corner of life and at every level of human activity. I’ve watched single mothers take action out of deep care for their children. Retirees discover new purpose, driven by the desire to leave a more livable world for their grandchildren. Everyday neighbors find their voice and stand up for their communities.

Leadership is everywhere. Sometimes, all it takes is a single word to ignite it.

This is not about being perfect. It’s about doing what we can, where we are, with what we have. If we all act, the collective impact will be extraordinary. And as you’ll see at this conference, the data proves it.

Our invitation is simple: Come, listen, explore. Let’s meet on March 12 and 13 at The Celeste Hotel in Orlando and take one step forward toward making real change happen. For full details and registration, click here.
